Jazz and Gidget presented to Blackhurst Elementary as "Alfa and Beto" two donkeys featured in "Waiting for the Biblioburro." The childrens book by Monica Brown tells how a young girl in Columbia eagerly awaits the arrival of the biblioburro to bring her and the other children of her village new books. The children and our Mini Donkey Companion Volunteer, Jerry Bliss enjoyed the story and companionship.
